Like many other municipalities in the area, the City of Moscow Mills requires permits for fences in both Residential and Commercial Zoning Districts. The rules and regulations for fencing types and other rules can be found in Chapter 46, Section 46.215 of the City of Moscow Mills Planning and Zoning Codes. The Planning and Zoning Commission, in cooperation with the Board of Alderman, is currently reviewing the rules and regulations on fencing. We do expect to have some major changes, including the types of materials allowed, within the next couple of months. In the meantime please refer to our ordinances as found on the previously mentioned website.
