Police Records

Police records are disseminated in compliance with the Missouri Sunshine Law. Incident reports contain only date, time of occurrence, type of call and (usually) the victim’s name; they are available upon request. Investigative reports may or may not be available, as outlined by law.

There is a $5 fee for each standard report requested. More involved searches, requests for multiple reports, or requests for other types of records will increase the cost. You will be contacted and informed of the required fee.

To request a report, please complete the following form:

The Custodian of Records is not available every day. Submission by email is preferred and will result in the quickest response. You may also submit the form by mail, fax, or in person at city hall, if you wish. This shall satisfy the statutory requirement of a response within three business days following the receipt of your request.
