Request for Qualifications-Professional Engineering Services

The City of Moscow Mills, Missouri, requests qualifications for engineering and architectural services as needed to assist the City with code reviews, water and sewer projects, street or transportation projects, building projects, planning, and other related functions on an as-needed basis as directed by the City for a period of two (2) years.

Information provided to the City must include:

  1. The specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to municipal assistance services or related work;
  2. The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in questions, including specialized services, within the timeframes proposed for the completion of the project;
  3. The past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules;
  4. The firm’s proximity to and familiarity with the area in which the project is located; and
  5. References from previous clients of related work with the firm within the past five years.

The firm will be selected based on the above qualifications.  Once the most qualified firm is selected, a cost for services will be negotiated.  Costs for subsequent tasks, or design and construction services will be negotiated separately.

The ability to begin work immediately plus (c) above shall receive primary consideration.  Solicitations from WBE/MBE firms are invited and encouraged.

Responses shall be submitted in writing three copies, in a sealed envelope, delivered to Linda Haynes, City Clerk, PO Box 36, 500 State Hwy MM, Moscow Mills, MO 63362 with the outside of the envelope clearly marked “STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS”.  The City reserves the right to reject responses it receives after September 27, 2024 at 12:00 noon.  The City will open and review the responses at a time convenient for City personnel.  Any questions may be directed to Rob Hamlin at 636-290-5465 or rhamlin@moscowmillsmo.com.
