UPDATE 9:13 am, September 22, 2022  We appreciate your everyone’s patience. We are continuing to work on the water issue. We ask city residents to continue to conserve water (ie: outside watering, car washing). The water pressure is continuing to rise. The City is currently above the minimum pounds per pressure required by the Department of Natural Resources. Because the city dropped below the minimum pressure required last night, a boil water is in effect IMMEDIATELY until noon on Saturday, September 24.
The planned maintenance continues and the Mette Road Tower is filling early next week. We are still waiting on the parts that will allow us to have a sufficient backup system.
